Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.
Today, Reebok has shared two standout colorways scheduled to release in May. One is for the Premier Road Modern, and one is for the DMX Trail Shadow, and we must say, we’re a fan of both models. Point blank, Reebok has been on fire as of late, thanks to eye-catching new designs like the Zig 3D Storm Hydro and both aforementioned silhouettes.
In other sneaker news, a new rendition of the New Balance 327 has emerged, thanks to Japan’s BEAUTY & YOUTH, while Saucony presents an update to its iconic Jazz silhouette. The classic sneaker has been outfitted with reflective elements and upgraded design details that bring new life to the longtime favorite.
For something on the performance front, Nike is prepping the release of a new “super shoe,” the ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2. The followup model has surfaced in a colorway that draws from the brand’s storied running heritage.

Editor’s Notes: Reebok has some eye-catching colorways dropping in May, led by the “Pure Blue” iteration of the Premier Road Modern. Pulling inspiration from trail running, Reebok’s design team utilized a bright shade on the contemporary silhouette, one that is reminiscent of vibrant trail runners. Also launching in May is the “Clay Red” iteration of the DMX Trail Shadow. This particular pair is a nod to the sun-beaten rocks of the Western US, incorporating muted tones from classic climbing shoes. The “Pure Blue” Premier Road Modern releases globally in May for $200, as does the “Clay Red” DMX Trail Shadow, which is priced at $160.

Here we see the performance runner showcased in a gold, green, and red colorway inspired by the brand’s rich running history. More specifically, this iteration of the ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 harkens back to 1972, the year Nike debuted the Waffle “Moon Shoe” at the Munich Olympic trials. Whether for performance or for show, this is one Swoosh sneaker you’ll want to keep an eye out for.
